My website built with React (JavaScript) and Flask (Python), providing smooth animations through Framer Motion for an enhanced user experience.
The application is structured into three main parts: a website for users, a back office for administration, and a backend developed in Python, hosted on Heroku with a MongoDB Atlas database.
For the backend, I chose Python over Node.js due to my curiosity and desire to learn a new language. This project allowed me to master Python, particularly through the use of the Flask framework. Although Flask is minimalistic, it offers flexibility similar to Node.js's Express.js, making it well-suited for lightweight and modular applications.
My goal with this version was to create a unique and sophisticated technical solution. However, it faced some compatibility issues on certain devices, prompting me to explore new approaches to improve accessibility.
On the animation front, I primarily utilized Framer Motion, combined with native CSS and SVG elements, to deliver a smooth and engaging user experience. Framer Motion enabled me to create dynamic and responsive transitions, enhancing the site's fluidity and modern feel.
This project not only enriched my technical skills in Python and Flask but also allowed me to explore innovative technologies for animation and user interaction management.
