Animated Portfolio V1

After discovering Framer Motion during a previous project, I was immediately captivated by its capabilities. I decided to fully explore its potential by integrating it into my portfolio. Thanks to my experience with SVG, manipulating vector images and HTML elements became smoother and more intuitive.

However, due to time constraints, I had to abandon the project in its current state. The site, in its version 1, is entirely static, meaning it has no backend and is not responsive. This first version proved to be too complex and heavy, making maintenance difficult. Additionally, I had used three different libraries for animations, which affected performance.

To improve this, I decided to rebuild the site using Next.js to optimize performance and SEO. I also abandoned Material UI, which was weighing down the application, in favor of lighter and more customized solutions.

Finally, to make the site dynamic, I planned to create a backend in Python and integrate a MongoDB database in version 2. This will allow for scalable features and add content more flexibly and in real-time.

This V2 promises to be more performant, maintainable, and adaptable to my future needs.
