A web application that allows users to create and customize a solar panel kit tailored to their energy needs and budget.

The Configurator is a new key feature of the Oscaro Power web project that allows users to customize their solar panel installation according to their specific needs. It offers the following options:
Selection of the solar panel location (on the roof, on the ground, on a pergola, etc.)
Choice of roof type if the installation is on the roof (slate, tile, etc.)
Selection of the type and number of solar panels to install
Arrangement of solar panels via Google Maps based on the provided address, with angle and orientation adjustments
Selection of additional kits and materials (inverter, storage battery, type of electrical supply, etc.)
After configuration, the application displays a summary with the total price, estimated energy production, and a summary of the choices made.
The website is primarily developed using PrestaShop (PHP), with some parts implemented in React. To integrate React into the PHP ecosystem, we used Webpack to generate optimized bundles. To avoid bloating the project, we made conscious choices regarding libraries, favoring native solutions over heavy frameworks like Material UI or AntDesign.
Data management is particularly complex, involving around twenty interdependent APIs with advanced calculations for various parameters. To handle this complexity, we adopted Redux, specifically Redux Toolkit, which simplifies and improves the use of Redux in the project.
The team consists of:
4 front-end developers, of which I am the Lead
1 back-end developer (PrestaShop)
1 API/DevOps developer (Python)
1 marketing manager
1 UI/UX designer
